Jackson is an energy specialist with extensive experience in a variety of jurisdictions in Asia, Africa and Australia. Jackson has a strong background advising oil and gas projects and market-leading expertise in energy transition related transactions.
Jackson has a deep understanding of marketing and sales arrangements (both short-term and long-term), in particular in the negotiation and drafting of oil, gas, LNG condensate, hydrogen and ammonia SPAs. Jackson specialises in M&A, joint ventures, project development and marketing, with a focus on LNG, gas, hydrogen, solar, wind and carbon capture projects. Jackson’s experience also extends to sale construction and use of infrastructure including terminals, FSRU’s, pipelines, storage facilities and power generation. Jackson has also assisted many clients in both the minerals and oil and gas sectors with regulatory compliance.
Jackson’s expertise, in particular in the APAC region, saw him named as a ‘Rising Star’ for Energy & Resources in Euromoney’s Expert Guides 2019 and awarded ‘Rising Star’ for Energy & Natural Resources by the IFLR Rising Star Awards Asia-Pacific 2021 and 2022.
