We have collected data on antitrust fine totals, and on fines and cases by conduct type for Europe, APAC and the Americas to give a snapshot of antitrust enforcement in each region. The Americas was the only region of those we surveyed that posted an increase in fine totals in 2022.

Antitrust enforcement snapshot for Europe

At the country level, antitrust enforcement fines in Europe were USD1.2 billion, a decrease from 2021. 

 

Antitrust enforcement snapshot for APAC

Antitrust enforcement fines in APAC were USD1.0bn, a decrease from 2021.

 

Antitrust enforcement snapshot for the Americas

Antitrust enforcement fines in the Americas were USD708 million, an increase from 2021.
