We have collected data on antitrust fine totals, and on fines and cases by conduct type for Europe, APAC and the Americas to give a snapshot of antitrust enforcement in each region. Although global antitrust enforcement fines were down in 2023, the picture in APAC was different with the region posting an overall increase in 2023.

Antitrust enforcement snapshot for Europe

At the country level, antitrust enforcement fines in Europe were USD590m, less than half the 2022 figure.

Antitrust enforcement fines in APAC were USD1.3bn, an increase from 2022.

 

Antitrust enforcement snapshot for the Americas

Antitrust enforcement fines in the Americas were USD415m, a decrease from 2022.
