Allen & Overy has advised the banking syndicate (arrangers, lenders and hedging banks) on the setting up of a new EUR1.2 billion financing in Europe for Phoenix Tower International.

This financing aims to enable Phoenix Tower International to consolidate its European telecom towers portfolio (France / French West Indies, Italy, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta) and provide substantial additional capacity to support further growth both in existing and new markets in Europe.

The banking syndicate was led by two lead bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers and composed of several international banks and financial institutions acting as arrangers, bookrunners, hedging banks and participants.

The Allen & Overy team was led from Paris by partner Driss Bererhi, senior associates Dorian Le and Zineb Bennis, associates Wendy Au, Ghita Guessous and Dusan Vukanovic and jurist Ivana Susac. Partner Adrian Mellor and associate Gabriella Masding advised on English law aspects.
