Charlie is an associate in A&O’s award-winning derivatives group and advises on a wide range of derivatives products including loan-linked hedging documentation and securitisation-linked ISDA documentation across Europe and Asia.
Charlie advises on a range of ISDA credit support documentation including initial margin negotiations as well as ISDA collateral and netting opinions; in this respect he advises on negotiations involving counterparties located in the US and South America.
Previously, Charlie had experience in advising large financial institutions on legal issues relating to IBOR transition and the impact on the cash and derivatives market globally, including a secondment to a predominant global bank to assist their legal team in coordinating their USD LIBOR transition.
Charlie also has experience of ISDA collateral documentation in respect of longevity hedging insurance and reinsurance transactions.
