Allen & Overy has advised Electra, the European fast-charging network for electric vehicles, on its record-breaking fundraising of EUR304 million entirely in equity.
This fundraising, the largest in France and the second largest in Europe in the charging sector, now gives Electra, a company present in eight countries (France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Spain), the means to realize its ambition of installing 15,000 charging points by 2030 in Europe and developing numerous services.
The Allen & Overy team was led from Paris by partner Alexandre Ancel, senior associate Julie Parent and associate Marie Kempf on M&A/Corporate aspects, partner Driss Bererhi and senior associate Zineb Bennis on financing aspects, partner Xavier Jancène, senior associate Corentin Dolivet and associate Domitille Favre on real estate aspects, counsel Laurie-Anne Ancenys, associate Carla Hemery and consultant Marianne Delassaussé on IT aspects, partner Romaric Lazerges, associates Vianney Leroux and Charles-Hugo Lerebour on public law aspects.
