Nigel specialises in intellectual property, technology and data.

He advises on the IP, technology and data aspects of corporate and commercial transactions, including joint ventures and collaborations. He has experience in a range of digital projects for clients across a range of sectors, including in the fields of digital health, fintech, connected vehicles and digital marketing. He has extensive experience of complex technology transactions. His data practice spans all areas of data privacy, including data breaches, international data transfers and data protection authority investigations. Nigel is recognised as a leading individual in his specialist areas, in both Chambers UK and Legal 500 UK. He is the contributing editor of the ICLG cross-border guide on cybersecurity and A&O's Digital Hub blog.
