The EDPB notes the auditing tool: supports preparation, completion and evaluation of audits directly in the tool, without need for technical expertise;
- generates reports;
- is compatible with other tools, such as the EDPS website evidence collector, and allows auditors to import and evaluate results from such tools; and
- uses free and open source software.
A second version of the tool will be launched later in the year.
