Tim is specialized in complex dispute resolution and risk mitigation. His focus is high stakes litigation, including class actions, impact litigation and governance disputes.
He represents various national and international corporations and financial institutions and regularly advises on sensitive pre-litigation and risk mitigation. He is also experienced in arbitration proceedings.
Tim is the coordinator and an author of Allen & Overy’s chapter on Non-US Class Actions in Jonathan N. Eisenberg’s Litigating Securities Class Actions. He regularly speaks and publishes on class actions and impact litigation in and outside of the Netherlands.
Before specializing in dispute resolution, Tim worked in the banking department of Allen & Overy. He is familiar with complex financing structures and is regularly involved in advising on such matters.
Tim graduated with honors and cum laude from the University of Utrecht in Civil law and Company law. He attended the National University of Singapore and is an INSEAD alumnus (MAPB’21).
