Justin has an international client base and a broad corporate practice focusing primarily on multi-jurisdictional M&A, private equity deals and international private M&A transactions. He has also significant experience in complex joint ventures, buy and sell side roles and carve out situations.
Justin’s M&A work spans numerous sectors, such as TMT (including for Prosus and Liberty Global), industrials (including numerous cross-border deals for Indorama in Europe, the US, Africa and Asia), international retail (including the global combination of Walgreens and Alliance Boots ) and agriculture and food (including M&A for Cargill on a global basis).

Experience highlights
Advising Naspers on the disposal of Allegro Group, the number one eCommerce platform in Eastern Europe with more than 14 million monthly users, to Cinven, Permira and Mid Europa.
Advising a group of financial institutions on the establishment of, and their investment in, Arise, a financial service investor in Sub-Saharan Africa, at inception initially a presence in over 20 countries and USD660m in assets.
Walgreens on its original acquisition of a 45% stake in Alliance Boots, the leading international pharmacy-led health and beauty group, as well as the exercise of the option to acquire the remaining 55%.
TNT on the carve out and sale of its global logistics business to Apollo.
