Pro-bono experience
- In 2019, Bethany was awarded the Pro Bono and Community Investment Award (Trainee Category) by Allen & Overy for: volunteering at Coram Children’s Legal Centre, helping children achieve their right to British citizenship; working on immigration cases for victims of domestic violence in the U.S.; carrying out research in the field of human rights for several NGOs; and mentoring young people from low socio-economic backgrounds.
- Bethany also joined the Editorial Team of The Business & Human Rights Review, published by Allen & Overy LLP’s Human Rights Working Group, in 2019.
