Dr Alice Broichmann is a counsel in the dispute resolution practice of Allen & Overy. She focuses on disputes and represents her clients in all types of disputes, in particular in national and cross-border arbitration proceedings but also in disputes before state courts.
Alice Broichmann has noteworthy expertise in the field of post-M&A disputes, in particular disputes regarding purchase price adjustments and warranties, expert determination proceedings and management participation programmes. In addition, Ms. Broichmann advises in the areas of corporate litigation, international commercial law and conflict of laws.
Alice Broichmann frequently acts as arbitrator (party-appointed, sole arbitrator, chairman) in ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings. She speaks frequently at conferences and publishes regularly on arbitration law in various leading German and international legal journals. She is also a lecturer at the University of Münster. Before joining Allen & Overy, Alice spent 15 years working in a leading German commercial and tax law firm in Munich. At this firm, she spent the last 12 years in the dispute resolution practice having originally worked in the firm's M&A/private equity practice for three years.
