Success at Chambers Europe Awards 2023: Allen & Overy named “Germany Law Firm of the Year”

With this award, renowned UK specialist publisher Chambers & Partners recognises a law firm’s pre-eminence in its jurisdiction and also reflects achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.

In its statement, the jury emphasised: “Allen & Overy’s position in the German market has strengthened in the last few years, boasting rankings across a range of sectors claiming the top spot in Insurance Transactional and Real Estate Finance. Its Competition law practice has gained particular traction advancing in the table. Allen & Overy has in the latest year managed to promote diversity with new female additions to the rankings in Corporate/M&A and Dispute Resolution. Its clients laud the firm: "Allen & Overy are extremely qualified, very well organised, quick and have a practical approach." And "The flagship is real estate financing. They are leading experts in Europe; we are always in safe hands with them."

 This is the second time that Allen & Overy Germany has been honoured with the prestigious award. The law firm prevailed over six competitors. In addition to the German team, Allen & Overy’s Belgian practice was also successful in winning the award as "Belgium Law Firm of the Year".
