A&O advises CVC on the financing of its investment in Monbake
Allen & Overy has advised MetLife Investment Management and certain of its affiliates and managed accounts on the establishment of a note purchase and private shelf agreement with John Laing Group Limited (John Laing) and the guarantors thereto, pursuant to which four tranches of Series A Notes were issued on 14 December 2023.
John Laing is a leading international investor and active manager of core infrastructure assets.
The transaction was led by US capital markets partner Marwa Elborai and finance partner Annette Kurdian, supported by senior associates Odysseas Theofanis and James Ashcroft, and associate Qi Xie, all based in London. Specialist tax advice was provided by partners Jack Heinberg (NY) and Charles Yorke (UK), and senior counsel John Hibbard (NY).
