A&O advises HPS Investment Partners on financing for CVC’s investment into Ligue de Football Professionnel

A cross-border multi-disciplinary A&O team has advised HPS Investment Partners on the financing supporting CVC’s minority investment into the commercial subsidiary of the Ligue de Football Professionnel, incorporated for the purposes of the commercialisation of the audio-visual rights of the French football league.

London partners Robert Burt and Darren Hanwell led the leveraged finance offering, with support from senior associate Luke Newling and associates Adam Walsh, Aditya Sarmah and Ruby-Jane van Zyl. The French finance team was led by partner Julien Roux, with assistance from associates Oumhani Fassi-Fihri and Reda Boujnini. Advice on corporate and regulatory matters was provided by French partners Frédéric Moreau and Romaric Lazerges with support from Vianney Leroux and French tax aspects were handled by partner Mathieu Vignon and senior associate Virginie Chatte.
