A&O advised Danish power cable provider NKT on the US and other international aspects of its successful DKK2.74bn (c. US$400m) rights issue, which will be used for investments in production and installation capacity.
As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of cables connecting offshore wind farms to the grid, NKT is already a major player in the green transition of the energy sector. A&O is very pleased to have advised them on this successful capital raise.
The deal was led by London-based US ECM partner Jeff Hendrickson, who was supported by US capital markets associates Katrien Wilmots and Rose Whitlock.
Danske Bank, J.P. Morgan and Nordea acted as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners of the Offering, with Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken and Nykredit Bank acting as Joint Lead Managers.
