Allen & Overy provided assistance in relation to the first private STS securitisation of Banca Valsabbina concerning a portfolio of residential mortgage loans for a nominal value of approximately Euro 125 million.
The transaction was structured by Banca Akros (Gruppo Banco BPM) as Arranger. The senior notes were subscribed by Banco BPM, while the junior notes by Banca Valsabbina.
Allen & Overy acted for Banca Valsabbina with a team led by partner Pietro Bellone, assisted by associate Chiara D'Andolfo, as well as by counsel Elia Ferdinando Clarizia for tax aspects.
