Banking & Finance

In Vietnam we have a second-to-none banking and finance practice that is consistently ranked in Tier 1 by all the leading international directories. The banking practice advises on the full spectrum of transactional and regulatory work and has advised on many innovative, high-profile and award winning deals in Vietnam. Our expertise ranges from straight bank or bond financings and credit facilities to complex equity-like financing, international capital markets and debt capital markets.
Corporate M&A
The Vietnam corporate practice advises across the broad spectrum of corporate work including complex joint ventures, private M&A, business establishments and licensing, disposals and corporate restructurings as well as general competition, commercial and corporate governance issues. The majority of our transactions are cross-border.
Within the corporate practice, we combine exceptional transactional skills with specialist expertise including competition, private equity and financial services regulation. Projects
We have an unrivalled track record, advising on many of the largest and most important power and other projects and financings in Vietnam since the mid-1990s. We advise sponsors, governments, construction companies, and lenders on projects and projects financing across sectors including power and other energy, infrastructure, petrochemicals and refineries.
Our work spans the full spectrum of project development (including project structures, power purchase agreements and other project documentation negotiation), fuel supply, financing arrangements, construction, operation and exit.
