Markéta Císařová

I joined Allen & Overy 13 years ago. During that time I have gone from being a Trainee in the Corporate department with one year’s experience, to becoming a Senior Dispute Resolution Associate.

Thanks to Allen & Overy’s new strategy, which recognises how our business can benefit from flexible working, I have managed to balance my career with my private life.

In 2006 and 2008 I gave birth to daughters and after maternity leave of one year in each case, I returned to my original position on a part-time basis. In recent years, I have branched out into specialising in IP, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and eventually became Anti-Bribery and Corruption Coordinator for the CEE region.

I consider Allen & Overy to be one of the best places for a lawyer to work as almost every day brings new opportunities and challenges, allowing us to develop further, both as lawyers and as professionals.
