Allen & Overy’s global employment team held a call on some of the major developments of interest concerning the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak, and the spectrum of emerging policy and practice impacting employee relations.

The call focused on some of the immediate concerns: leaves of absence, remote working and pay arrangements, as well as those mechanisms available to businesses to cut costs, whether through redundancies and layoffs or short-time working.
