In 2015, Allen & Overy opened a Seoul office, building on more than 30 years’ experience dedicated to helping Korean companies, quasi-sovereigns and financial institutions to navigate the international legal and regulatory framework as they do business abroad. Having an established presence on the ground enables us to bring the full weight of our international network combined with our deep sector expertise and product knowledge to bear for Korean corporations and financial institutions. It also enables Allen & Overy to provide Korean language support on the ground to our clients, not just in projects, capital markets and M&A but also in areas such as arbitration and IP.
