Allen & Overy advises Omnes on Crédit Agricole Assurances’ stake acquisition in renewable portfolio from TotalEnergies

Allen & Overy has advised Omnes, a leading private equity and infrastructure investor, in connection with the acquisition by Crédit Agricole Assurances, through its Predica Energies Durables fund managed by Omnes, of 50% of a portfolio of renewable projects from TotalEnergies.

This portfolio of renewable projects has a total capacity of around 234 MW, including 23 solar power plants with a capacity of around 168 MW and 6 wind farms with a capacity of around 67 MW.

This transaction implies an enterprise value of the portfolio of $300 million.

Crédit Agricole Assurances is thus strengthening its role as a leading institutional investor in renewable energies and is continuing to support players in the energy transition.

The Allen & Overy team in Paris was led by partner Alexandre Ancel, with associate Astrid Achard-Hoffman on corporate aspects.

The team also included counsel Arthur Sauzay and associate Charles-Hugo Lerebour on public law aspects, senior associate Pierre De Hua Soen and associate Valentine Henry on real estate law aspects, as well as senior associate Zineb Bennis on financing aspects.
