Nadja primarily advises domestic and international companies on resolving complex cross-border disputes in the field of commercial arbitration and litigation.

She focuses on post-M&A disputes as well as disputes in the energy industry and has particular expertise in the field of private international and international procedural law, with a special focus on commercial and investment arbitration law.

Prior to joining Allen & Overy, Nadja worked with several major international law firms in Frankfurt am Main and New York while completing her PhD in the field of investment arbitration. For her PhD, she was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York. In parallel to completing her PhD, Nadja also lectured at the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie (VWA) Freiburg in the field of economic and internet law.

In addition to her work as counsel, Nadja is founder and CEO of breaking.through, a career platform for women jurists in Germany and Switzerland, and co-founder of ARBinBRIEF.
