Hayden is a partner in the London Real Estate team and has broad experience advising investors, developers, financiers and owner/occupiers on a wide range of commercial real estate and infrastructure transactions.

His primary focus is on cross-border co-investments and joint ventures in real estate and infrastructure assets, together with corporate acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets. Hayden was recognised as a Rising Star for Real Estate at the IFLR Rising Star Awards EMEA 2021.

  • GBP110m: A global financial institution on the acquisition (by purchase of the shares in a BVI company) of 45 Pall Mall, London.
  • EUR149m: The Hong Kong Monetary Authority and a global financial institution on the acquisition of a 49.9% stake in portfolio of three offices in Paris and the associated joint venture arrangements.
  • EUR100m: A global financial institution on the on the establishment of a 50/50 joint venture with Guardian Wealth Management for the acquisition of a property at Via Boncompagni 71, Rome.
  • Oxford Properties on the establishment of a co-investment platform with Qatari Diar, Delancey and APG for investment in the UK private-rented sector (PRS) with initial capital commitments of GBP600m
  • GBP370m: A leading regional investment company in relation to its mezzanine financing (by way of Eurobond issuance) to Abu Dhabi Financial Group for the acquisition and subsequent redevelopment of New Scotland Yard, London.
  • A multinational financial institution on the acquisition and development financing of a portfolio of four hotels in London (valued in excess of GBP800m), including advising on the new hotel operator lease.
  • GBP25m: Quadrant Estates on the establishment of a 95/5 joint venture and the associated development management arrangements with the Alberta Investment Management Corporation for the acquisition and development of a leasehold interest in Plot A, Nine Elms, London.
  • GBP92.5m: Westbrook Partners on the acquisition (by purchase of the shares in seven Jersey companies) of the Dominvs Portfolio, a logistics portfolio of eighteen properties throughout the UK.
  • AED3,625bn (c.USD1bn): Tourism Development and Investment Company on the disposal of a large portfolio of real estate assets in the UAE, including a number of hotel and other leisure assets.
  • A joint venture between CBRE Global Investors, Kings Street and Arax Properties on the letting to Baker & McKenzie of c.150,000 square feet in 280 Bishopsgate, London for their new London HQ premises.
