Melinda is an associate in the Investigations and Litigation group, in which her cross-border practice focuses on complex investigations, corporate criminal defense and corporate compliance. She represents financial institutions, global corporations, and individual clients involved in anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and other regulatory investigations before the U.S.
Melinda earned her law degree from Duke University School of Law, where she interned with the Special Litigation Unit of the World Bank Group with a focus on fraud and corruption investigations. Melinda was an Executive Editor of the Journal of Comparative & International Law, a member of the Mock Trial Board, and a semi-finalist in the Kilpatrick Townsend Mock Trial Tournament. Before law school, Melinda served for three years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Tanzania.
