Gillian Holgate

Gillian is a partner in the Corporate Department of Allen & Overy LLP. Based in London, she has over 30 years' experience advising on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including private and public M&A including carve out sales, demergers and spin offs, joint ventures, reorganisations and restructurings, re-domiciliations, IPOs and other equity offerings, and general corporate/corporate governance and listed company advisory work. Over the course of her career she has advised both public and private companies and financial institutions, and her clients have included UK and non UK companies across a range of sectors. Over the last 15 years, her particular focus has been advising global corporates on complex, multi-jurisdictional and multi-faceted spin offs/demergers, carve out sales and acquisitions and group/business reorganisations.
