Tom Anderson is an Executive Director in Allen & Overy’s global strategic and regulatory consulting business. He has extensive experience in supporting firms with their governance, compliance, conduct, culture, risk management and regulatory strategy challenges.
Prior to joining A&O Consulting, Tom spent 4 years at Nationwide Building Society where, for the last 2 years, he was the Chief Compliance Officer responsible for Conduct, Compliance and Operational Risk management across all of the Society’s operations.
Prior to his role at Nationwide, Tom spent 2 years at RBS Group as Head of Regulatory Relations, managing key regulatory relationships and advising senior management on regulatory strategy.
Tom also spent 12 years at the Financial Services Authority, supervising large multinational banking groups, with his last role being Head of Wholesale Banks & Investment Firms.
