The Statement

Allen & Overy is committed to ensuring that the pages within this website are accessible to all individuals including those with disabilities.

Compliance

Throughout the design process Allen & Overy has undertaken to ensure that this website meets accessibility standards as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).  All English language pages of this website conform to W3C's "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0", Level 1.

Languages

Throughout, all text is tagged for language.  Thus, a suitably configured screen reader will be able to recognise changes in language and switch its synthesiser language accordingly.  There is currently a limitation in the accessibility of the site for some of the pages that contain language sections in a language other than English.  Images within such sections of the site have alternative text that is in English.  These pages do not comply with Level 1 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
