Paul est spécialisé en droit des valeurs mobilières et en réglementation des marchés financiers, y compris les cotations en bourse. Il conseille ses clients sur des opérations de dettes et de capitaux propres. Ses principaux clients sont des banques, des sociétés commerciales, des institutions et des sociétés émettrices, qu'il conseille sur un large éventail de transactions, comprenant notamment la titrisation, les produits structurés, les obligations, les placements et les rachats de titres, les offres d'échanges, les demandes de cotation en bourse, et toutes les obligations continues dérivant de ces cotations. Paul a sept ans d'expérience professionnelle dans ces domaines au Luxembourg. Il avait précédemment travaillé dans le département "credit and rate markets" de JP Morgan à Londres avant de rejoindre Allen & Overy.
Il organise régulièrement des conférences sur différents sujets liés aux marchés et services financiers au Luxembourg et à l'étranger.
Paul est membre du Retail Banking Cluster, Luxembourg (RBCL) de l’Association des Banques et Banquiers du Luxembourg (ABBL), secteur d'activité qui vise à promouvoir et défendre les intérêts professionnels des membres actifs dans la banque de détail qui couvre, par exemple, les services financiers de détail à la fois d'un point de vue réglementaire et technologique.
Paul est également membre des groupes de travail KIID & PRIIP de l’ABBL relatives aux règlements européens concernant des documents clés pour l'investisseur et les règles relatives aux produits d'investissement packagés de détail et fondés sur l'assurance.

Advising three leading specialist insurance companies on the establishment of their respective new European subsidiaries in Luxembourg following the UK’s decision to leave the European Union, and on follow-up labour law and regulatory matters with respect to their respective intra-group reorganisations, including. advising on outsourcing and insurance secrecy considerations (at the level of the Luxembourg entities and their branches).
Advising a group of financial institutions on the IPO of Shurgard Self Storage, the Luxembourg holding company of the Shurgard Self Storage group.
Advising CrossLend (a German fintech) on the issuance by CrossLend Securities, a Luxembourg regulated securitisation vehicle, of notes backed by loan receivables originated through the German Creditshelf platform.
Advising Banque Internationale à Luxembourg on the issuance of EUR300,000,000 1.500 per cent. Senior Non Preferred Notes due 2023, which is the first Luxembourg senior non preferred bond issuance.
