Nathan advises on a wide range of commercial and technology matters, including commercial contracts, data protection, cybersecurity and non-contentious intellectual property law.

In recent years, Nathan has advised a number of clients on their response to cyber-attacks and other data security incidents, their involvement in smart city projects and their approach to international data transfers and broader GDPR compliance. He has also advised clients entering into complex service, sponsorship and licence arrangements across a number of industry sectors.

In 2022, Nathan spent six months on secondment to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office and he has previously spent time on secondment to Allen & Overy's Dubai office and to the Legal team at Emirates Global Aluminium in the UAE.
