We promote positive wellbeing and psychological safety. We encourage you to speak openly about your mental health and to be able to seek help with confidence, should you need it. We aim to reduce stigma and unnecessary causes of stress. Each of us, through our awareness of and interactions with one another, has a constructive role to play. The better our own wellbeing, the more we can help those around us, ensuring our teams are flourishing.

We provide guidance to help you look after your own wellbeing, comprehensive support, and early intervention strategies to avoid people reaching crisis. Everyone can bring their whole self to work, and you'll find a strong sense of community in our networks. Wellbeing is about so much more than high performance. It’s about you. Having the right degree of rest and recuperation and ensuring whatever hours you spend at work are motivating. Engaging with brilliant colleagues in interesting, challenging and cutting-edge work. Leaving you feeling inspired, motivated, challenged and achieving your personal ambitions.

There are over 40 Mental Health Advocates – partners and senior support professionals from every major A&O office. Their role is to sponsor our Minds Matter programme locally by normalising mental health conversations and championing working practices that support positive mental health.
