Advising Huawei on Conversant’s claim for a declaration that it has offered fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms in respect of its standard essential patent (SEP) portfolio.
Advising a leading financial services entity on parallel civil and criminal proceedings relating to the theft of high-value trade secrets. Urgent interim injunctions were obtained in multiple countries within 24 hours in order to contain the trade secrets breach. The case led to extradition proceedings and a successful prosecution on charges of computer misuse and fraud.
Advising Pfizer company, Warner-Lambert, on its ground-breaking action to enforce its second medical use patent for its blockbuster neuropathic pain medication, Lyrica (pregabalin), against Actavis and a large number of generic companies in the UK, as well as coordinating proceedings in France and Germany.
