Axel also has extensive experience in financial services regulation and advises banks, asset managers, investment firms, settlement institutions, payment institutions and other financial institutions on a wide array of topics (including bank regulation, Fintech services, investment/broker dealer services, funds regulation and distribution, prudential & licencing requirements, governance issues, etc.). He is also an expert in ESG regulation and sustainable finance (Taxonomy Regulation, CSRD, CSDDD, Green Bond Regulation) and advises corporates and financial institutions on compliance, risk management and governance matters.
