Ana is specialized in employment law legal advise in restructuring procedures, collective dismissals and designing labour strategies to be implemented in a medium period as consequences of a deal procedure. She has been involved in a large number of company’s organizational changes, given legal advise and support not only during the phase of analyze in order to determine the legal consequences of the different alternatives and how to implement it but also during the implementation of the decision adopted, in relation with employees, worker’s representatives, procedures of EREs, substantial modifications of the labor conditions, agreements, negotiations, transfers, redundancies, etc.

She is also an expert litigation lawyer before Labour Tribunals.

Labour issues and new digital rights in the Spanish Data Protection Act

The new Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (Ley Orgánica 3/2018, de Protección de Datos Personales y Garantía de los Derechos Digitales), referred to from now on as the Spanish Data Protection Act, has taken advantage of the necessary adaptation to EU Regulation on Data Protection to include new employment rights in the digital area, including the right to digital disconnection and the right to privacy in the use of digital devices in the work environment.
