Zeina is an associate in our Washington, DC Banking and Projects team.
Prior to joining Allen & Overy, Zeina contributed her efforts to the development of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP’s Africa and MENA practice. She drafted proposals in response to RFPs for a myriad of projects, including transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Zeina is certified by the Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) Professional Foundation (APMG International). During her employment at the World Bank Group (WBG), she delivered legal analysis and policy reform recommendations on the subject of PPPs in MENA and African countries. She also represented the World Bank’s Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation team in its liaison with Tunisian governmental authorities to establish a Project Development Fund.
Zeina started her career as an attorney in leading law firms in Lebanon where she worked on a variety of corporate, contract and finance matters.
