Zach is an associate in our Derivatives and Structured Finance Group in New York. He has experience advising on a broad range of derivatives and structured finance transactions including on margin, OTC derivatives and other regulatory requirements, in particular Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act and the Volcker Rule. Zach has also spent time in our Litigation Group, where he represented a number of large financial institutions in multijurisdictional FX investigations, and in our Environmental and International Sanctions Group, where he conducted diligence and advised on environmental and sanctions-related compliance and contract provisions. Zach is also active in the firm’s commitment to pro bono work, having worked on a range of pro bono matters that include defending a non-profit company in commercial litigation, compiling a multijurisdictional memo on recent developments in death-penalty jurisprudence, and successfully applying for asylum on behalf of a Russian refugee.
