In particular, William has assisted a client with an investigation by a European regulatory into their DSAR responses, negotiated data processing terms, completed data protection impact assessments, and co-ordinated personal data redaction exercises. In addition, William has been involved in a large number of disputes, including (i) on all stages of the defence in an alleged breach of warranty and fraud claim pertaining to global arbitration proceedings; (ii) for a major bank on an investigation by financial regulators into potential misconduct in the wholesale foreign exchange market across European, Far East and American jurisdictions; and (iii) for an academic institution in relation to a patent dispute. William also has experience negotiating NDAs, and has acted on behalf of potential investors and sellers.
