Tom has wide ranging experience of OTC derivatives and structured derivative products across various asset classes, including currencies, rates, commodities, equities and has particular expertise in structured credit derivatives. He also has significant expertise in collateral documentation, advising a number of financial institutions in relation to their global initial and variation margin implementation projects.
In addition to OTC work, Tom plays a leading role in a number of Allen & Overy’s legal technology products. In particular:
Tom is leading the development of IBOR MatrixTM, an Allen & Overy solution designed to help firms deal with the challenges of IBOR discontinuation that deploys best-in-class AI technology alongside Allen & Overy’s leading subject matter expertise.
Tom designed, developed and built Allen & Overy’s MarginMatrixTM, platform used by market participants to comply with their Variation Margin (VM) obligations.
As a result of Tom’s work in this area, he has extensive experience in the delivery of legal tech products, artificial intelligence technologies, data transformation and interrogation, and the integration of new and existing technology platforms with wider market infrastructure.
