Soumya is a senior counsel in our Corporate M&A group based in the New York office. She advises clients on cross-border and domestic, public and private M&A transactions.
Soumya focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions including leveraged buyouts of public and private companies, divestitures and corporate reorganizations. Her practice also includes representing clients in connection with strategic mergers, joint ventures, De-SPACs, venture capital and early stage investment activities. She has particular experience of managing major complex cross-border transactions. She also advises clients on general corporate matters.
Soumya was recognised in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America 2023 for her high calibre work in Corporate Law. She was also selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America 2021 and 2022 (Corporate Law) and in Super Lawyers New York Metro Rising Star List in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
