Salim manages the global securitisation group. His experience covers a wide variety of asset classes, across a number of jurisdictions, utilising a range of structures. In particular, he works closely with mortgage originators, private equity houses and investment banks in establishing RMBS and covered bond programmes utilising master trust, synthetic, stand-alone and multi-issuance structures for RMBS and structured and statutory covered bond structures. He also has extensive experience of auto finance transactions (leasing, retail and wholesale (UK and pan-European)), unsecured consumer finance (credit cards, consumer loans and insurance premiums through master trust, term and ABCP conduit structures), commercial mortgage securitisations, trade receivables, trade finance and whole business and infrastructure securitisations.

Salim also works on securitisation and other transactions in the Middle East and Asia, including RMBS, CMBS and Sukuk establishing Murabaha platforms (used for lending and retail structured products) as well as on transactions involving auto finance, commercial leases, tax monetisations, letters of credit monetisations, project financings and real estate financings.
