Roberta Cheung is of counsel in Allen & Overy's Asia Pacific Recovery and Restructuring Group specialising in complex cross-border restructurings and insolvencies.
She advises and assists secured and unsecured creditors, coordination committees, ad hoc groups, debtors, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders on all aspects of financial restructuring and insolvency cases in a range of industries and jurisdictions.
She has extensive experience in a spectrum of restructuring and recovery matters, including enforcements, restructurings, distressed debt trading, distressed M&A and refinancings.
Her experience also includes a secondment to the Distressed Asset Legal team of a multinational bank.
Roberta is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
