Reinier is an associate within the competition law department in Amsterdam. He specialises in competition law, EU law and regulated markets. His work focuses on cross-border cartel damage claims and merger control proceedings before the Dutch Competition Authority and the European Commission.

Previously, Reinier worked as an associate within the Corporate practice in Amsterdam, where he primarily worked on M&A transactions involving listed companies.

After obtaining his LLM degree in Corporate law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Reinier joined Allen & Overy in 2020.
