Pietro Bellone



Pietro has a wealth of experience in banking and finance, with a particular focus on structured finance. He advises financial institutions, corporate entities and funds on public and private securitisations performed under Law 130/99 and/or Law 52/91 in relation to a broad range of asset classes (RMBS, CMBS, SMEs, consumer and CQS/DP loans, leasing, trade and VAT receivables), covered bonds (both soft bullet and conditional pass-through), portfolio financing and securities lending.

In addition, Pietro assists sellers, servicers and investors in transactions involving distressed assets, including the set-up of joint ventures for the acquisition of NPLs, the establishment of servicing platforms and REOCOs, NPL financing/refinancing and restructuring. Pietro has also gained extensive experience in general lending, acquisition finance, real estate and project finance and he has been working on innovative transactions that combine banking tools with structured finance techniques. Pietro has been awarded "Italian Capital Markets Lawyer of the Year 2020" at the Italian Legalcommunity Forty Under 40 Awards.
