Paul is a partner in the litigation practice in the New York office specializing in intellectual property. He has over 20 years of experience focusing on litigation, counseling, and dispute resolution in all aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, trade dress, and copyrights as well as commercial disputes involving IP assets.

Autonomous vehicles. As an active member of the firm’s Automotive Group, Paul has handled matters involving the following automotive-related technologies:

  • Camera and image processing
  • Out of lane detection systems
  • GPS systems
  • V2X communications
  • Regenerative braking
  • Batteries

Disruptive Tech. In addition to Paul’s AV focus, he also has a considerable amount of experience with disruptive technologies, most notably artificial intelligence, IoT, distributed ledger, smart contract, 3D printing, eHealth, Big Data, 5G, encryption, and cryptocurrency technologies. Paul has handled numerous patent and trade secret related matters in these fields and the industries disrupted by them:
