Paolo Ghiglione has more than 20 years' experience in M&A deals, including disposals and acquisitions of assets and shares, mergers, de-mergers and joint ventures in a number of industries, including energy, financial institutions, telecommunications, infrastructure, transport and consumer goods.
He has acted for both buyers and sellers in some of the top-end privatisation transactions in the Italian market and has been involved in a number of major restructurings and reorganisations. He also advises on corporate governance and regulatory matters for listed and non-listed companies including Italian private equity funds and financial intermediaries. Paolo is regularly quoted in the leading international legal directories and has been awarded “M&A Lawyer of the Year 2015”, “Corporate Advisory Lawyer of the Year 2020” and “Insurance Lawyer of the Year 2022” at the Italian Legalcommunity Corporate Awards.
