Michał specialises in commercial and IP litigation.

He has experience in a wide range of commercial disputes before the internarional courts and arbitration tribunals, as well as before domestic courts and regulatory bodies. Michał focuses primarily on patent and unfair competition litigatin; he represented clients in a number of landmark patent cases that shaped Polish life sciences market. He works primarily for major companies from the pharmaceutical, media and energy sectors.

  • a leading gas and oil company in a patent infringement dispute involving one of the highest-ever damage claims in the CEE region

Pro bono

  • Michał demonstrates an outstanding involvement in pro bono activities. He represents Polish judges in a total number of 58 on-going court proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Human Rights, the Supreme Court of Justice, the Supreme Administrative Court, the general courts and before the so-called “Disciplinary Chamber”. He was also involved in representing detained women protesting against abortion ban in Poland in 2020.
