Melinda is an associate in the Investigations and Litigation group, in which her cross-border practice focuses on corporate criminal defense and corporate compliance. She represents financial institutions and global corporations involved in anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, U.S. Sanctions, and other regulatory investigations before the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulators. Melinda also assists the firm’s Political Law Group and advises global corporations on a variety of topics, including lobbying regulations and campaign finance laws.

Melinda earned her law degree from Duke University School of Law, where she interned with the Special Litigation Unit of the World Bank Group and with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). Melinda was an Executive Editor of the Journal of Comparative & International Law, a member of the Mock Trial Board, and a semi-finalist in the Kilpatrick Townsend Mock Trial Tournament. Before law school, Melinda served for three years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Tanzania.
