Marnie is an expert in leveraged and acquisition finance, focusing on global and domestic private equity sponsors and large corporates as well as banks and other financial institutions.

Marnie is well known in Australia’s private equity sector, having been heavily involved in bringing together all types of funding packages for acquisitions, refinancings and recapitalisations.

She is well versed in the full spectrum of credit products favoured by private equity sponsors, including unitranche, mezzanine, TLB financings and other more traditional loan facilities.

Marnie also advises borrowers, lenders and other stakeholders on financing the acquisition of infrastructure assets, and large corporations on their general corporate financing arrangements.

Marnie is recognised in Asia Pacific Legal 500 and as a Best Lawyer in Australia for Leveraged Buyouts in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Marnie recently joined Allen & Overy from Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney.
