Marleen van Putten

Marleen specializes in Intellectual Property, Privacy and Data matters. She represents clients in and out of court to protect their trademarks, designs, copyrights, patents, know-how, trade secrets and data. Her experience includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts in sectors ranging from consumer goods & retail, media & technology and creative industries. She also advises on intellectual property and data protection strategies in corporate/M&A transactions, such as licensing and transfer of intellectual property rights, restructuring of large intellectual property portfolios and compliance with data protection laws. Marleen graduated with honours from Leiden University in Civil law and joined Allen & Overy in May 2016.
