Leonhard advises national and international clients on disputes in the field of intellectual property law, in particular German and European patent law. His activities include both out-of-court legal advice and involvement in complex national and cross-border patent lawsuits.
This primarily includes patent infringement and nullity proceedings relating to key technologies such as semiconductors, telecommunications, consumer electronics and software.
Before joining Allen & Overy, Leonhard worked as research assistant and legal trainee for major international law firms, as well as for the German Bundestag and the European Patent Office.
